Hi, I am Gwenn A.K.A Sami Rae. I have been shooting for roughly 10/11 years now regularly and creating art in that time. So, this is my very first string bikini, the first time I was able to wear it with confidence, and as I posted before I have lost, in the past year and a half (or less), roughly (UPDATE:) 114 lbs. Now, though I am a photographer, i make no money off of what I do. Right now, for me, it is about the art, crafting my skills and bettering myself as an artist. I am disabled, I have Fibromyalgia which causes severe chronic pain every day. This caused this journey to better my body to be a struggle that only seems to grow harder every day sometimes. I do have my good days, as is the nature of fibromyalgia. I fought and keep fighting this disability with the assistance of many and the support of so many beloved friends and family.
You TOO can achieve your goals if you really want it bad enough and just see your failures in your journey as a learning experience and just grow from it instead of giving up immediately upon “failing”. Failure is a part of life, and this is a given, it just how you cope and get back up, dust off and persevere (or not) that determines whether you stay on track. Writing notes on your mirrors help, notes to yourself, on your fridge too. Learning to love yourself, finding mantras that work for you. >^_^<
You can only truly fail if you deny yourself the chance to learn from the experience.
